My optometrist referred me to Dr. Jenkins for cataract surgery. I was nervous, but Dr. Jenkins and her staff put me at ease immediately. They are efficient, friendly, and really knowledgeable. What I appreciated most was that Dr. Jenkins explained the treatment options to me in details and in terms a lay person can understand. I never felt rushed and was comfortable asking as many questions as I wanted to. Dr. Jenkins performed cataract surgery on both eyes, implanting RESTOR lenses. The surgery was over before I knew it. I walked out relaxed and glad I did it. Post-surgery follow up was excellent. I’ve never thought I would be able to read or see so clearly without glasses. I passed the eye test for renewing my drivers’ license and can do crossword puzzle in the paper. I can sit in the blue section of Aloha Stadium and watch a football game and work at the computer without squinting.
